I’m back! I’ve been offline for the past few weeks (holidays in the countryside with no wifi) and after I logged back to Tumblr and scrolled a bit I checked how my Jack Rackham week posts have been received (I made them earlier and queued them because I knew I didn’t have internet connection during JR week) and OMG I got so many nice compliments!! I’m so blessed!!! Thanks so much to all the people who liked/reblogged and appreciate all the stuff I do, it fills my heart with joy ❤ And now back to business!

I’ll (probably) be off Tumblr for two weeks (I’m going on vacation to the countryside/seaside) and I’ll be back on August 28, I set up a queue so the blog will be active anyway :) I said probably because if I get a good internet connection on my phone I might be able to connect a couple of times. In the countryside it’s difficult to tell if you’ll get some internet connection of not, eheh. See you soon and happy holidays! xx

Makes perfect sense. I think something like that may have happened because the theme "shell" itself from still there, but anything modified in the options wsa gone (colors, background ext)

That’s exactly what happened to my theme, it just came back to its default settings, the ones set by the creator of the theme. When I’ll change the theme I’ll also change the meta data (don’t feel like doing it now because I really wanted to change my current theme anyway) and let’s see how it goes!

The colors are messed up on mine too.

Looks like it’s a very common bug :( I really hope Tumblr is gonna fix this very soon, sometimes I spend hours changing the colour scheme of a theme and I hate to do that all over again!

So I was just checking my blog and realized that the theme fucked up? I fixed it now, but the colours are still off (it should be yellow, not red) ... I wanted to change my theme soon anyway but ... that doesn’t mean you had the right to do that, Tumblr! How rude of you.

Finally got to watch High-Rise ...

... And I loved it! I think that despite the differences with the book it encapsulated the whole concept of it pretty well. Cinematographically speaking it’s bloody stunning! The vivid colours and the aseptic atmosphere made it look surreal and supported the story in a wonderful way. It is also well acted, and not just by Tom! Despite the story’s “surrealism” all the character felt so real to me. I think I’ll watch it again soon because I feel like I didn’t catch every single shade of it ... but it’s still a great movie to me! I hope I’ll get to see it on the big screen but who knows ... fingers crossed!
