The new IPCC Report just came out and Justin Trudeau's government says that they need to build the Trans Mountain Pipeline to fight climate change.
Kudos to the GOAT George Carlin for this phrase but it fits here because in no way is building the pipeline and exporting oil helping us. It is making things worse. We are not on track at all in Canada and with our exports we are making things worse globally in whatever country gets our oil.

Today, 140 organizations representing 24 million people sent a letter to insurers of the Trans Mountain pipeline.
Insurance coverage of more than USD $500 million for the Trans Mountain pipeline expires on August 31, 2020. The insurers on track to renew their coverage include AIG, Chubb, Energy Insurance Limited, Liberty Mutual, Lloyd’s, Starr, Stewart Specialty Risk Underwriting, and W.R. Berkley. They all received copies of the letter.
