Questions 1, 2, 5 and 8

1: What is your #1 favorite anime?

I’m definitely cheating on this answer, but oh well.  In terms of an “overall high-quality show” type of favorite, Cowboy Bebop is and will most likely always be my favorite.  I’ve watched it a lot, but I’m still impressed by the characters and animation.  I will never get over the way music is utilized in that show and even though I have favorites for other reasons, this is a show that just stuck with me.  It left an impression that I’ve never been able to shake. 

For completely sentimental reasons, Inuyasha is super important to me.  It was the first anime I got into beyond Sailor Moon and Pokemon, the first show that made me want to watch more anime, the first show I ever sought out fanfiction for, the first show that made me intensely invested in animation.  Kagome/Inuyasha is still one of my favorite pairings and even though I can admit that the show as a lot of flaws, I love it. 

2: Has an anime ever made you cry?

Yes. To be honest, endings (of anything in general) make me emotional.  So usually if I cry, it’s at the end of a show.  I cried at the end of Inuyasha and Inuyasha: The Final Act for sentimental reasons.  I cried at the end of Air, Chrono Crusade, Clannad, Free!, and I think I cried at the end of Cowboy Bebop because the music was amazing, haha.

8: Who is your favorite anime character?

I sound like a broken record, but I really loved Kagome from Inuyasha. But Makoto and Haruka from Free! are honestly right up there for me.
