i’ve been steeping for too long so here we gooo
i am not a “warrior” for having a disability. my chronic illness doesn’t make me strong or amazing or fearless. i am none of those things because of my illness. it doesn’t matter if you call me “a person with type one” instead of “diabetic”. it doesn’t change shit. it doesn’t make me better. you can say you’re sorry. i don’t care. you can tell me to eat this or that to cure it. it won’t work. your campaigns do nothing but distract from the fact that big pharma is destroying our lives. stop making my illness cute or fun and Stop Calling Me A Warrior.
