Today this is what we are doing!! Yes I could be cleaning ( I won’t be - other than this paint ) But why would I want to spend my day cleaning the already clean - when I can spend time with my #minkymoomoo she’s far more fun than a mere #minky 🤣. . People we need to keep our homes clean / but we need to build our immune systems -. . So here’s a thing - my home when I was a child was beyond clean - my mother had had a break down of sorts - coupled with having two children when she was quite young - and after my brothers birth was told by a midwife that she needed to keep the house germ free as new borns and children are vulnerable.. Her young self took this on board - she was still cleaning the home like this into my 20’s. . . Now my immune system is wrecked - ? My brothers is nt great - he stays super fit to try and keep well. . My immune system is gone - 20 odd years of living in a germ free bubble? Which was bleached ( she did use vinegar and such - but mainly bleach ) She saw dirt where there was none - it became an obsession that took over her life - cleaning at 3am convinced she’s not cleaned the house enough. And of course all because she worried if she did nt do enough - we her children would die - or something worse than death would happen to us. ( she was terrified we d be stolen away and abused - found this out in later years ) She needed real help - she lost our childhoods to cleaning - her health and ours.. is it worth it ?.. You ve seen my on going health issues .. it’s not worth it. . . Ditch the extra cleaning - go grow food - no garden - get an allotment - ask friends if you can use a patch of their garden and share the harvest. Volunteer for home help - if you have to clean - go clean for those who can’t and give them company .. . . Please please please my darlings - don’t throw your life and healths away on obsessive cleaning .. it’s not worth it. .
