Women have the rights to do what they want, pursue their dreams but one problem prevails 'objectifying' them which has to be eradicated. Women are being pointed out in society for how they dress but the point is they didn't have that cheap thought while dressing it was the society's herd mentality

so how one dresses is not the point

Its the mentality that has to be changed. Women are not objects which is something to be possessed. So stop objectifying them

So wearing a burkha or a skirt doesn't change the fact. What need to be changed is the herd mentality

Women aren't candy

I'm so sick and tired of women being labeled as chocolate. White chocolate, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, I don’t give a FUCK. We are beautiful. We are not meant to be entitled like we’re being packaged to your liking on what you’re in the mood for that day. We are beautiful. We are not candy.

Cat calling

Up until today, I have had really no personal experiences with cat calling. My city doesn’t have a lot of foot traffic so I never walk the streets. However today, it happened to me in school. There’s one hallway where an pack of boys hang out; every girl knows this. Therefore, we all avoid it as best we can. Sadly my friend and I were aimlessly wondering at lunch and forgot about the hallway. As soon as we got to the doors, the calls started. Whistling and a comment along the lines of “don’t do drugs”. (I don’t know). But let me just say that I wasn’t wearing anything to provoke these comments. I sported a long sleeved black cardigan, black tights, a skirt and a black T-shirt and my friend a plaid long sleeved button-up and jeans. So now I just feel disgusted and sad and unsafe in my school. I could easily get trapped in that hallway. This is not okay, and I want it to stop for every other girl who doesn’t want to be treated like an object in their high school.
