Last week, kayakers braved the cold to protest against the risk of an oil spill in the St. Lawrence River in Canada. Their signs read “Stop Pipelines: Protect Our Water and Climate”. These actions come as PM Trudeau said he approved two major oil pipeline expansions. If the project goes ahead, it'll be the equivalent of putting 5.9 million cars on Canada’s roads.
