OH HEY THANKS :D and also:

1) favorite ship + why —> right now it’s definitely tuckington; i feel like wash is finally in a group of people he’s beginning to trust and tucker, despite being pretty lazy, is actually a damn decent soldier and he’s definitely wash’s equal in sass. when they talk (which, by the way, is usually when they’re either doing a task together or when wash is doing something and tucker is hanging out with him for no reason, like when wash was trying to fix the radio) it’s not gentle or nice but there’s mutual respect there. as much as i feel like they wouldn’t admit it at this point, they do take the other’s opinion into account; tucker’s also been the “straight man” that wash confides in, like when wash is saying “you’re right…. they should’ve found us by now.” also i think it speaks volumes that they’re more candid with each other than they have been with pretty much everyone else— for example, when wash says “die, or worse” and then says he didn’t know what was worse, “it just sounded dramatic.” same with tucker, when he mentioned the bachelorette party and wash called him out on it; tucker said he wanted wash to believe he banged the whole party, but he really just got beaten up. tucker’s the one wash has repeatedly joked around with, even when he’s yelling scathingly sarcastic things (“i can’t say i’m surprised, lavernius”) which to me is hearkening back to pre-epsilon wash, when he wasn’t so destroyed and still joked around with the team like he was their little brother. (i have a lot of wash+trust feels that i can’t even begin to get into.) when wash deals with the reds, he treats them as pretty much incompetent (AND HE MADE FUN OF SARGE to tucker actually haha), and caboose/freckles is just kind of a problem for him; tucker, though, he treats more like a comrade. in the same vein, tucker treats wash more like a friend than he ever treated church. and then, moving forward, tucker’s sexual/warm nature would go really well with the fact that washington probably desperately likes being touched/touching others (i see tucker’s sex thing as ‘warm’ because there are psych studies that say a lot of ‘promiscuous’ people have sex because they want other people to feel just as good as they do, not necessarily because they want to just fuck all the time). all in all, they’re on the same level mentally and physically (and in sarcasm), and even if wash is a freelancer tucker’s not about to defer to him…

basically i have like 10 fic ideas that will hopefully sort out all my tuckington headcanon, because i need to stop or else i’ll just keep writing about them all day.

(whispers) but i actually have another ship that i think only i like… i feel like north/south should be a thing. maybe it’s because i’ve been reading too much mira grant (this book, go read it) but… idk. i’ll make a separate post about them. i think they would work so welllllllll….

12) why don’t you like your least favorite season? —> i’m not a huge fan of season one, probably just because i’ve only seen it once and i wasn’t totally convinced on the show when i was watching it. other than that, the epsilon unit parts of season nine were mehh. i get that they were necessary, and certain scenes (all the chex ones) were amazing, but overall… just… meh. not my favorite.

35) if you could voice act […] what would your character do —> OH MAN well i hate my voice but i feel like i’d want to be a bamf, sarcastic female soldier….. just like all the other women on the show. i’d want to kick ass and take names. i’m pretty cynical in real life and i’ve done karate and northern shaolin kung fu since i was seven, so if my character could do that, i’d be so happy…. actually, if i could just be a motion capture person for a freelancer who uses a sword instead of a voice actor, i’d be in heaven ahaha.

36) which episode made you have the biggest emotional response + why? —> UGH THIS IS A WEIGHTED QUESTION. when the ship crashed with tex and sister and junior and andy etc. on board at the end of six (maybe six?) i literally laid on my friend’s couch for probably fifteen minutes mourning tex, it was awful. and then i found out she was coming back and i was fine (aND THEN SHE CAME BACK AND S09 AND S10 HAPPENED AND NOTHING WAS FINE EVER AGAIN).

also, the entirety of s09 and s10 are emotional minefields. yorkalina, chex, the director— all the terrible “wow i am in pain” lines are from those seasons. ‘i forget you’, ‘you are my greatest creation’, ‘not everyone’, ‘you’re all my problem’, ‘i just wish she hadn’t’…. and don’t even talk to me about north+south jesus christ.

the fact that he fought her on tex’s behalf, ended up (presumably) beating her and then piggybacked her away, telling her ‘you’re still my little sister’ (HE WAS FIGHTING HER ON BEHALF OF SOMEONE SHE HATED AND SHE WAS PROBABLY TRYING TO KILL HIM BUT NORTH DIDN’T KILL HER BECAUSE HE’S GOT HER BACK AND THEN HE CARRIED HER AWAY AND PROBABLY TOOK CARE OF HER AND HID THEM BOTH AND AND AND DO YOU UNDERSTAND HOW UPSETTING THAT IS)… and then when he says he’s got her back she says ‘and i’m watching yours’ which is fine because blood is thicker than water and family values etc etc until the fridge horror hiTS YOU THAT LATER SHE BASICALLY STABS HIM IN THE BACK AND CAN YOU IMAGINE NORTH DYING KNOWING THAT HIS LITTLE SISTER, THE ONE WHO HE WOULD’VE DIED TRYING TO PROTECT, HATED HIM ENOUGH TO BETRAY HIM LIKE THAT? HE MUST’VE THOUGHT HE FAILED, THAT HE FAILED HER, IF SHE HATED HIM SO MUCH, BECAUSE YOU KNOW HE’S THE TYPE TO BLAME HIMSELF— AND MEANWHILE THETA WOULD’VE BEEN RUNNING AROUND FRANTICALLY IN HIS HEAD, CRYING AND TERRIFIED, SO CAN YOU BLAME NORTH FOR LITERALLY JUST SCREAMING WHEN HE DIED BECAUSE I FUCKING UNDERSTAND

An owl, I actually really looked into getting one then found out they were illegal to keep as a pet in Canada

akdjaskda I don't really have a favorite! I love animals, if I had to pick I would go with cats for domestic and for wild I would go with ermm Polar Bears
