FYI. Since July 3rd a series of earthquakes have rocked the world with the largest one between Las Vegas And Los Angeles in the Ridgecrest area. It was the strongest one in 20 years. With that being said do you think it’s really that smart for the US military to practice live munitions training in Pohakuloa here on the Big Island with a live active Volcano who’s eruptions last year claimed over 500 people’s homes in Puna and okay if you want to believe it’s a coincidence and not related that’s fine also but why take the chance? If they community here wants it to stop just like the telescope why isn’t the community requests being respected? Am I wrong for this? To me the spirit of Aloha will always hold a place in my heart and from my grandparents days till now it was something that was given freely and shown on a regular basis but it’s very frustrating when you have the federal court system putting gag orders on Hawaiians because a mainlander created a company using our words to sell his products that have no connection to Hawaii (none at all). If you know my personal story you’ll also know that I had a design and company stolen from me and had to fight it in court in an attempt to try and get the rights back to what I created until I got so sick and tired of the time it took and the court expenses I just took a settlement deal for what I feel was pennies on the dollar value which is what seems to be the trending thing to do to Hawaiians nowadays. From our land to coastlines to cultural practices and even now our language, my question is when will we band together and correct these problems? Let me also tell you the first thing they hope we do is get jealous of each other and fight amongst ourselves and that’s what keeps us from moving forward and from unifying. Every once in a while I get criticized for taking so many pictures and for the most part I did it to freeze a moment in time so that if something ever happened my friends and family could look at them and reminisce about the fun times we shared but you never ever think about losing a physical location and it’s been a strange reality to face recently to know my kids won’t be able to take their kids to do the same fun stuff I did with them, then again the way the world is going and the amount of resources that are being ruined due to corruption and greed I’m sure this is just one of many places that will become a memory if people don’t learn to Aloha ‘Āina. Please Excuse my language in this video, but the government could test and fire any of their weapons on uninhabited islands or at least ones without an active Volcano on it. When will the government wise up? When they destroy our eco system like they did with Micronesia? Or will everyone demand them to stop there rimpac training here in Hawaii? Why is it so hard to listen to the earth and decide that war games shouldn’t be practiced here on the island of Hawaii? When everything’s said and done they don’t live here but we do, everything we worked for and everything our parents and their parents and so on will be lost if this continues. As it is now the US should be held responsible for the loss created in Leilani Estates because the day after they started the live munition training is when the fissure in Leilani estates opened up. I think the low frequency bombing actually played a major part in what’s going and even if I’m wrong why is it so hard to Malama the ‘Āina instead of destroy it?
