I’m a bit disappointed about the ML spoilers. Like I think I heard something about how seasons 2 and 3 are going to be more plot based, but if so, I fear it will get the same treatment Steven Universe and Gravity Falls have/had with scheduling, and excessive hiatus’.
I feel like Zag is trying to keep the hype up during this hiatus with the excessive spoilers, but it’s having the opposite effect. Many people are loosing interest because of the spoilers. If the show has the same “monster of the week” formula during the next two seasons, I can kind of see why the spoilers would make sense, but if it’s going to be a linear story, it’s like reading the last page of the book first. It’s satisfying at the time, but ruins your appetite for the story.
I’m upset that they have released the who, but am glad they left out the how and why. At least there will be a bit of mystery left for the story. But it's still along the lines of being told Dumbledore dies, or who the Half Blood Prince was while you are still reading Order of the Phoenix. I’m just hoping the spoilers die down as the webisodes start up.
