I struggled with this my whole life. People would think I was stuck up, mean, etc. And it bothered me because I was none of those things. I simply did not like attention on me! People had an more high self esteem for me than I did. They viewed me in a higher regard than I did but thought I was cocky or thought I was better than people when really I wished I was in a shell so no one could see how low I really felt inside.
