Ok my new manga rec for today is Still Sick.

Yuri, OL (office lady) romance that starts when engineer baby girl shimizu's coworker finds out she draws yuri doujinshi in her spare time. Some of the anatomy isn't the best but the story is soooo fucking fun. Im finding that I really love a coming out to yourself story. Especially a himejoshi realizing that being gay isn't just for fiction it's awesome every time.

I think this panel is funny as fuck.

The story's more on the wholesome side but there's a good amount of selfishness in the characters, and watching them struggle to find equilibrium is really satisfying. OK heres a really good page from later on

It's not very explicit, I just found these scenes the funniest. Shimizu being an Otaku is awesome and very relatable. Her begging her gf to draw yuri ship art is a recurring gag. Queen shit. And the way she monologuing about her otp who barely talk in canon... she lives the life of a true yuri warrior

Reading yaoi and the main character is supposed to be ugly but he's literally soooooo appealing drawn look at him

Been seeing some Lil stick figure comics abt masking up (now in 2026) & while I get the intention they primarily communicate absolute fucking terror of becoming disabled & a smugness that it hasn't happened to them. From what I remember of people saying when it came out, it wasn't exactly purposeful, but I think I am in eskew is probably one of my favorite metaphorical depictions of mental illness struggles. I am in eskew feels like it gets me where a thousand other stories about mental health fail. I'll expand later if I remember but basically it's the struggle for survival as a matter of just Enduring being alive. Being able to stand it. Just scraping by
