funny story??? over the last few days i lost 2 expensive items within 12 hours of each other and u probs dont know but i usually never lose my stuff like yeah maybe a small inexpensive pen (cameron if you're out there i saw you pocket it you big lying thief) or something but never Big Important And Expensive Things. in fact it is often joked about that i seem to have the luckiest guardian angel looking over me and helping me with constant small pieces of luck and good fortune in everyday life.
but then on saturday i lost my $400 bose headphones or well rather left them in the seat of my uber
then i lost my nice prescription gold framed glasses on sunday after i took them off at the flower festival
given my record of never losing stuff and suddenly losing 2 was rare af and unusual as hell like my friend thought i was cursed and it felt like i was. i actually didnt care too much about my glasses because i can get replacements and was due for a vision check up soon anyways. but my headphones... as someone with sensory processing issues suddenly losing my only noise cancelling item that got me through the busy city life... it has been fucking H e l l.
funnily enough my guardian angel is back on the job (or rather might have gotten hella drunk on the weekend and fumbled and now have gotten over their hang over and started to get things back on track) because
1) i got a call from the flower festival advising they found my missing glasses and will post if back to me as i live 3 hrs away
2) me @ uber for days: i cant reach my driver about lost headphones can u help
uber: no sorry cant reach him
me, today: im gonna contact the police ffs and i hope u have banned him otherwise i am going to the media that u give jobs to thieves
uber all of a sudden a few hours later after that message: omg ur uber found ur lost item!!
