for merrin: when did she realize she had strong feelings for cal that weren't merely platonic? also, in regards to kata, does she develop maternal feelings towards her, or more along the lines of being a big sister / friend?

all of merrin's feelings about cal are strong as a basic requirement, but anyway.. i think merrin's always kind of had a sense that if she lets herself, she's going to fall head over heels for cal. it's less a crush and more that she's incredibly self-aware and i don't think she would be oblivious to the pull between them from the get. even when she leaves and realises that the suffering they both have experienced is not just unique to them, she still very much feels that there is something kindred about them, that there's something else binding them together. however, i think merrin was also aware that they both needed time and space to find themselves, she needs to find herself especially, so it's also kind of just an abstract idea at the start. during their separation she had glimpses of her deepening feelings, but was also able to put them to the side as until she saw cal again they were somewhat immaterial. i reckon it's about 5 seconds after they reunite on jedha, that's when merrin realises that it is very much not just an idea anymore, it's very, very real, and she's not nearly as in control of it as she thought she was.

towards kata i think merrin's feelings are very sisterly, mainly because being a sister is what she knows how to be. but they're also not that clear cut; there are maternal aspects to the way she treats kata, and more friendly aspects, it's not necessarily one or the other, and there is overlap. given that merrin knows what it is like to lose her family and carry that grief, she is more concerned with being whatever kata needs her to be.

        Chin  lifted  as  he  caught  her  gaze,  the  need  to  beckon  her  unnecessary  as  her  expression  collapsed  in  relief  the  moment  she  realized  he  was  watching,  fording  her  way  through  the  glittering  masses  to  come  to  his  side  as  if  escaping  a  suffocating  torrent.

        ❛❛  I  didn’t  know  they  let  just  anyone  into  this  event… ❜❜   she  huffed,  and  the  Sith  couldn’t  help  but  smile  beneath  his  helmet,  a  reassuring  hand  gently  clasping  her  shoulder.

Leia & Luke

Any au where the twins are raised together! Could be a fix-it au where they’re raised by their parents, or they were both raised by the Organas, or they were both raised by the Lars. I just need the twins being kids together.

AU where Luke is raised by Vader. At some point he and Leia meet, probably at some sort of political meeting or party or something. They would probably hate each other at first but for some reason they keep in contact and eventually Leia starts getting Luke sympathetic to the rebels cause. Maybe he becomes a spy for the rebellion, so then they are secretly working together.

Something set post rotj with them actually sitting down and discussing the fact that they are twins. This could probably end up angsty since they both have such differing thoughts on their father. Maybe they both try and find out more about their mother?

New parents! Just them learning how to be parents together and taking care of their kids because i love this family.

Satine & Obi-Wan

Maybe an au where at the end of tpm the council refuses to take in Anakin and Obi-Wan is determined to keep his promise to train him so he ends up leaving the Jedi. He ends up going to Satine for help because he suddenly realizes ‘oh no now i’m alone with a nine year old to take care of’. So they end up staying on Mandalore for a while. This could go a few ways, maybe he and Anakin are just there for a little while, or they could end up staying there.

Connor & Angel

I would love to do anything with your Connor honestly. I love the idea of him coming back as a child instead of a teenager so that Angel still gets to raise him. 

Emmerson & Connor

I think it’d be interesting to do something between Emmerson and my Connor, like what would happen if somehow the two miracle children ended up in the same universe. I can just see Connor immediately being protective over her, he wants to help keep her safe.

ANAKIN AND LEIA ANAKIN AND LEIA OR VADER AND LEIA TALK ABT DOTTIR AND FATHER VEE VEE PLS PLS PLS

let's begin with anakin and leia, shall we ? from the moment padmé told anakin that she was expecting, he experienced a wave of different emotions. however, those emotions all boiled down to the idea that everything they both had worked for would be gone. every secret they kept would soon come to light, and anakin didn't care. he was willing to give everything up.

those feelings didn't change when his nightmares began, but fear crept up on him and that's when things started to shift. soon, his joy for the future turned into anxiety about what might happen. this troubled him more than he knew how to express, but anakin did speak of his nightmares; yet, when he did, he felt a twinge of bitterness boil inside. he didn't blame padmé, and he couldn't blame her even if he tried, but he began to blame the unborn child for some time.

however, anakin hated himself for feeling that way. often he would meditate for hours to help him work through the emotions of resentment until he returned to a place of joy again. anakin kept these feelings a secret, knowing that if he told padmé, unwanted tension would come between them.

the last thing he did for padmé and the unborn child was the act of giving in to the dark side. anakin believed that would be the final ticket to keeping his loved ones safe. yet, after the events on mustufar and following the events around being placed in his suit, anakin tried to turn off his thoughts of those he lost. there were times when it was easy not thinking about them, and then times came when all he could do was think about them.

following that, nearly twenty years passed, and in that time, darth vader had thought about them on and off, mostly during his meditation. it isn't until the truth is out about luke being a skywalker that he thinks more about the past. darth vader felt angry about believing another of palpatine's lies and wanted to know more. there were a lot of pieces he was missing, and when he first encounters leia, there is a moment of possible realization, but it doesn't stay long because he knows palpatine could twist any realization he has.

all that to say, darth vader pieces things together slowly to understand the truth for himself. though it isn't easy and requires reflecting on the past, but it eventually gives him understanding.

He only has the vaguest memories of his family, he remembers a baby, perhaps he had a brother.

The Jedi were all he knew, and here he was standing in front of Satine Kryze, the young Duchess of Mandalore. And she was telling him that she may possibly be in love with him.

And if he was honest, he was in love with her too.

But to admit that love would mean expulsion from the only home and family he had ever known.

"I..." He paused, trying to collect his words, and organize his thoughts.

If he left the Order, could he build a new family here with Satine?
