Stories of Life #2: Retail

This is a fun and terrifying one. I just remember this happened. The setting is as follows:

Enter me, 15 years old, unpaid internship in a retail clothing store Also enter woman, maybe early 30s, pregnant  + 5-year-old child

She was looking for underwear for her husband and we’ve offered and still do offer a broad selection of different brands, styles and the like. She wasn’t looking for any kind of underwear though. She was looking for underwear with “easy access”. In detail she wanted underwear that make it easy and fast to go hard. 

Cordial thanks to her explanation of how she wanted a specific kind of underwear to suck dick. I was terrified and disgusted.

Dear diary,

Trust issues are such funny things... I spent 1 day learning how to float just by the side of the pool, and 3 days learning to let it go.

Even before that, whenever I was told I looked beautiful ,I responded with a " don't joke " or a "maybe" all the while internally thinking " What is the joke?", And spent the rest of the day fixing my hair.

So many days spent fixing my hair or my face, and I never felt like I had fixed it enough.

Is this just trust issues? Or a lack of faith? Or are they the same thing? ?
