You were a teacher at Professor X’s school, teaching a class that was a mix between health and physics education and defending yourself against attackers.
You joined the x-men team at the same time as Ororo
Whenever she didn’t have any classes to do or be anywhere else, she would often be found staring outside as you taught your class. Watching you through the window.
She highly respects you in all areas - whether as a friend, teacher, and coworker.
She admires greatly how poised and confident you were in your skills to teach others and protect the world.
Your powers consist of shape shifting, X-ray vision, super speed, duplication, and the creation of force fields.
Anytime she sees you using your powers in any manner, her heart soars. Though she also hid those emotions too afraid to ruin every dynamic you and she were involved in.
She has seen the way relationships in the past have ruined the x-men dynamic.
No matter what though, you always circled in the back of her mind.
HOW YOU TWO GOT TOGETHER:
During a heated battle you were fighting off some armed guards, a knife found in both yours and the enemies’ hands.
Ororo could see from high above how your fight was going. She was hovering above conjuring lightning bolts towards the enemies.
More and more guards surround you, and Ororo decides to help you.
Conjuring a lightning strike, she aimed it towards some of the guards surrounding you. Just as it flies towards your area, a guard on your left pushes you towards a guard on your right. Which leads to your body being a shield for the guards against the lightning.
You collapsed on the floor, and Jean used her power to kill all the guards in one go. Seeing her best friend’s body lifeless made her bring out the power she hides.
Ororo immediately flies towards you, silently begging for you to be alive still
You heart beat was barely recognisable, but Charles made sure you were immediately sent to the mansion to receive medical treatment
Ororo offered to accompany you on the flight back. Which you couldn’t deny as you were unconscious.
When you woke up in the medical wing in the mansion, you saw Ororo sleeping in a chair next to your bed.
You whispered out her name and she immediately woke up with a happy but guilty look in her face
She ends up immediately confessing that she is sorry that her lightning struck her instead of the enemies
Before you could finish telling her that it is alright and accidents happen, she blurted out her feelings for you.
Confessing that she never wants to hurt you and she feels so guilty for it, because you are her favourite person in the world. She wouldn’t be able to stand with herself if she seriously injured or killed you. She can’t imagine something bad happening to you. And she once again brings up her guilt, saying she feels so sorry for causing pain in the person she likes.
You are then taken aback, and she can see that. She tries to apologise, but you just lifted your hand up to silently tell her to be quiet. You then admitted that you like her too.
You two sat in silence for the next 20 minutes before Ororo was called away.
The nerves and excitement bottled up inside Ororo, to the point where she was afraid to see you again. So she avoided you until you got released.
When you left the medical ward you went looking for Ororo, already missing her and her company.
When you spotted her down a hallway you pulled her aside and asked her out on a date. She immediately accepted.
Your first date was too showing a movie you were both interested in seeing, and a little dinner picnic under the stars.
By the end of the date, you were both laying down on the picnic blanket, your head resting against her stretched out arm. You two being apart of a whispered conversation about the sky and what it reminds you two of (key: each other).
NOW ONTO OTHER PARTS OF YOUR RELATIONSHIP:
She is such a soft commanding person. Whenever she asks you to do something (like wash her body after a long and tiring fight) she would always make sure you were up to do the task. Her voice when she asks you favours matches the definition of soft.
After a couple months, you two ended up moving into the same bedroom in the mansion.
When you first established your relationship, you two were quite the talk of the town. Both students and colleges liked to tease you two. Like one time Peter teased you two for being so cute together while you were out on a huge mutant dinner. And whenever either one of you would drop into the other’s class, the kids would immediately let out a bunch of ‘aww’s and ‘oohh’s
She absolutely loves to be the big spoon in bed. Her head nesting against your neck, and as you two slowly drift off to sleep, she would softly press kisses against your skin.
You two both love to watch each other work. Whether it is teaching classes or fighting off enemies.
Absolutely loves to still woo you over. Especially by calling you sweet sweet nicknames, and by kissing your hand or knuckles.
Going off that she loves to call you ‘enchantress’, ‘butterfly’, ‘beautiful’, ‘darling’, ‘love’, ‘starling’, and ‘sunshine’.
She also loves to kiss you on your temple, nose bridge, and on your lips.
Ever since you two started dating, she loves to train with you. Though it will turn quite heated real soon.
One time you two were practicing fighting each other on the mat, trying to disarm the other. You were straddling on top of Ororo, when she flipped you two over. Her hands pin your arms above your head. You two stare at each other, breathing heavily. Not even a couple seconds past, she immediately slams her lips on yours. Let’s just say training was cancelled.
Ororo loves to shower you with compliments
I can totally see her writing you daily hand written notes and letters. Like if she and Wanda went out for a girls day and she came back with a drink for you. She would quickly write you a not telling you how amazing you are and how you deserve a special treat. She would then drop off the drink and note to you at your class, with a swift kiss on your cheek.
If you have always wanted to dance in the rain, Ororo would use her powers to make that happen. She loves to see the smile light up on your face.
She loves to just spend her night relaxing with you. Whether it is cuddling while watching some shit reality tv or having a candlelit bath and feeding each other dinner.
She is down to do anything with you, especially go shopping. If you ask her if you should buy a top, she will give you an honest answer.
During fights she always keeps her eyes on you, asking to make sure you don’t die or get seriously hurt.
She loves to see you blush. And she will never admit it, but she blushes all the time.
