storm updates: It’s raining a shit ton where I live and what I’m assuming are really hard pinecones are hitting the side of my house but I still have power!!
Okay, so we've survived Storm Éowyn so far with the exception of our willow tree out front and our water pump, which has left me bathing in a bucket like the dark ages
Final update unless something changes: The storms have passed and are now heading into Arkansas ( @t3mpest98 be safe <3 they're headed your way now). My house is now the site of a frog festival as i hear frogs all over the place. There's some light rain more like a sprinkle really, i don't hear it unless i really focus to hear it. Winds have calmed down and it's now 68 degrees (F) out and nice and cool compared to the upper 90's we've been having in Texas. The Tornado Watch is still up until 10, but it's honestly looking great for a calm night now for my area.
Thank all of you for the prayers, good vibes and wishes <3 Maybe tomorrow I can do as i planned today and make a day of reading and reblogging some of my to read list <3 After I pay my water bill and get a couple phone calls made. I may also see about picking up some Whataburger or Sonic for supper tomorrow to be lazy ( well lazier i already microwave most food here XD) as well as hopefuly watch some Tem with a bestie over discord <3
update 7: With luck the worst of it has passed. I got side tracked with being on a voice call with my brother's boyfriend ( gonna call this man my brother in law man is so nice) who kept me calm when I started to freak out ( i did panic move my figures and some things i could and im alright now) when i had a tornado warning over my area. I still have power, it's still raining and i still have a tornado watch until 10 pm but things are slowly dying out and moving off east texas. The wind is still picking up in places but all in all there's been no thunder or lightning. Just lots of rain and a fair bit of wind. Some southern counties got hit bad. Like there's roughly 2 mil people without power right now because of this. But it's looking up a fair bit for my little area. The storm should be off me fully in about 3 hours.
Update 6: So i'm starting a new thread of this. So good news is it looks like it's going to be just one bad day of weather for East Texas. And from what the weather lady said tropical funnels are usually weaker and dont stay on the ground long however they pop up very quickly and it's very hard to get warnings out for them. They can pop back up 2 miles down the road after dispersing apparently. This is why there are so many tornado warnings up, as to try and get out a head of it. With how quickly these spin up it's hard to really catch the rotations to be precise about it, such as where they're going to go. There are currently multiple spots of rotation that are being watched.

hi good news im alive!
bad news is we probably wont be getting power until the weekend and i have no way to charge my phone tmrw so i may be even less present than i was.

so i may not be on as much today because power is already out because of the storm + branches have been falling + my chimney fell off but i am okay! just sitting through a baby hurricane w/ my cats <3
