Heyo. So um, I figure you're probably getting tons of asks and stuff about this, and if so, sorry to bother, but I have a couple of questions about the Miraculous big bang if you don't mind my asking. So, how will it work? Will there be a sort of application to enter it or anything like that? And when will it start and end?

surprisingly few, actually!

we’re still working out the finer points of exactly how it’ll work, but the basics are:

once we open sign ups, people will have a few weeks to sign up.

once sign ups close, writers will have a 2-3 weeks to write out summaries and outlines and length estimates for their fics.

we collect those summaries and and let the artists/respondents list the top 5-10 fic summaries that appeal to them (depending on the number of entrants)

we (the mods) then go and match people based on their preferences as best we can

all creators will then have 4 months to write their fics/draw their art/make their things, with monthly status/wip check-ins

(if enough people aren’t making the check-ins, then we’ll probably open up pinch-hitter signups halfway through)

then: we all post — this’ll probably be staggered over a month or two, tho we’re still debating how that will work

ideally this event will start in july/august and end by december, although if it takes us a while to get it up and running then that timeline may be pushed back a little

I got this from two people, you and @their-destinys-writer! So I guess this is happening.1. Sweet foods hurt my stomach2. I eat them anyway.3. Bananas also hurt my stomach, but I don’t eat those.4. In middle school, I could draw like a boss, but then I stopped drawing after getting rejected by an arts academy, and now I suck at it.5. I am part Chinese6. I was adopted.7. In sixth grade in an attempt to connect with my Chinese heritage, I wanted to take Mandarin. They stopped offering Mandarin at my school that year, so I started taking Japanese because I thought “They’re similar enough, right?” Now I’m conversational in Japanese and I’m applying to get my Masters in Japanese culture, all because of that mistake. 8. I met my favorite celebrity (Choi Junhong from BAP) and proposed to him with a Ring Pop. He dabbed in response. That is not a no. ((Side note, a friend of mine proposed with a Ring Pop to another member of BAP the same night, and he rejected her like a boss. It was hysterical.))9. I like Miraculous Ladybug because I’m living vicariously through the romantic tension of the series. I have no romance in my life, so I have to get it from somewhere.10. I think muscular girls and chubby girls are both really hella attractive. And chubby girls WITH muscle??? They’re my whole life.
