                  𝚃𝙷𝙴𝚈         𝚂𝚃𝙰𝙽𝙳         𝙾𝚅𝙴𝚁         𝙷𝙴𝚁  .         the  sun  crowns  his  head  like  a  halo  ,  all  -  righteous  and  full  of  light  ,  full  of  life  .  the  world  tells  her  that  she  is  wrong  for  the  second  time  ,  that  she  has  made  a  mistake  by  venturing  too  close  .  maybe  he  hears  it  ,  all  those  ghosts  clinging  to  her  back  .  maybe  he  knows  what  she  wants  to  keep  secret  .  but  she  is  tired  ,  aching  ,  hardly  moving  beneath  the  stare  of  his  blaster  .  she  has  lost  ,  like  many  times  before  .  too  wary  to  use  her  lightsaber  tucked  into  her  inner  robes  ,  too  cautious  to  tell  him  anything  but  what  he  demands  .  no  ,  not  until  she  knows  who  he  is  .  not  until  she  can  be  sure  he  is  not  one  of  them  .         “         meetra  surik  .         ”         she  is  gasping  it  ,  the  wind  catching  up  to  her  lungs  as  she  breathes  slow  .  in  her  peripherals  ,  the  vibroblade  rolls  too  far  away  from  her  to  snatch  it  right  back  up  .       “         that  won’t  mean  anything  to  anyone  ,  anymore  .         ”         a  croak  from  her  dry  throat  ,  an  echo  of  her  journey  through  these  different  lands  .  she  has  been  here  before  ,  but  it  was  another  time  .  another  trek  through  the  wilds  to  remain  unspoken  .         “         who  are  you  ?         ”
