my summer of love is such a weird adaptation
Agreed. It has some weird vibes going on. I’m going to be honest, if it wasn’t for Emily Blunt being in the film, it probably wouldn’t have made the list.

Lightning: Did you just say you were happy to “meet” or “beat” me?

Lightning (voice over): Turns out I didn’t hear what the fuck he just said.

Don’t you just love that Emma is SO FUCKING GOOD that you can examine every minute detail of a scene and you only get more depth.
I could literally just stare at her face forever. She is so nuanced. And I know that soap actors aren’t renowned for being nuanced. But she is.
Even when she’s hamming it up and playing something really broad, there’s always something to be found in her performance that just gives it that little edge, that allows you to interpret something deeper.
She deserves all the awards.

stormqueen replied to your post: I LOVED those two eps
Can’t wait to watch them when Ruth gets home five endless hours from now
This whole week has been brilliant in terms of focussing on characters I like ;) Today gave me Charity/Moira interaction, which I always love.

I figured it was basically like how we knew the Whites were being killed off months before it actually happened.
It could still come to be. Idk. It just seemed a bit strange at a time when Charity’s stepson came back.
