Ah Asgeir, the talented Icelandic singer/songwriter that gave us the wonderful album In The Silence. He eventually had to translate the album into English to reach a wider audience, but the true charm of his album came from the fact that it was sang in Icelandic. Asgeir heard our prayers and thankfully went back to his original work, recording it the way it was originally loved: in the Nordic language. We still get hints of Bon Iver and Nick Cave, but it is his own personal touch that makes the record so good.
