Note For Tweet Of Fate As well as Yeet Of Fate!

Just a heads up that Tweet of Fate is probably going to take place during the OG Judgement Day days. It just makes it simpler for me to write/create without a TON of rewriting and a mess like that. Also, the draft isn't going to exist in this story so that way any wrestler can appear on any show at any time. Hope this doesn't confuse anyone, I'm just trying to fix it so that I can get more done more quickly and get the chapters out more quickly.

Also, I've not forgotten YEET of Fate. I just am trying to get this story off the ground before I finish Yeet Of Fate.

ghibli-like goblin story with a secret world of arriety scale, the mysticism of spirited away (many unexplained magical an supernatural laws, a feeling of tension hiding beneath a facade of tranquility, and the classic buildungsroman model) and the aesthetic of kiki's delivery service in terms of color tones, clothing sorta, and an emphasis on magic in the plot throw in a pinch of unescapeable destiny and u got whats boiling in my head rn....

Topic: Currant unavailable at the moment.

I’m reweriting it because It’s totally going off track and it feels extremely forced. I loved writing it but then i started hating it because of unanswered questions that don’t make sense to their answer and what not. 

It doesn’t completely change. Just certian parts that don’t make sense.

I guess you could say that was the pilot of Currant, because now I know what I should do with it and it should be more polished by the time chapter goes up again. (basically like the concept of Steven Universe or Gravity Falls which later changed)

I suppose you could say I am having trouble with certian characters because I do not have enough info on them. Typically this usually happens in fanfiction when large parts of characters are not expanded on leaving it to the author of the fanfiction to partake in trying to answer the questions.

The thing is, some can pull it off and some cannot. As of now Currant is undergoing a little rewrite.

I will spoil a little bit though. if you have read this. You’ll know who the upcoming characters are.

a story note

so in the latest chapter of desert road incarnate, my original plan was for max to tell a slightly altered fairy tale to calm down the little girl in the car. 

the fairy tale was going to be the little mermaid but with one key change: the princess gives up her voice so she can change her legs into a fish tail and go live in a magical water world, where she is surrounded by water all the time and she falls in love with the prince of an underwater kingdom. the story is the same, just flipped. because it wouldn’t make sense for someone to want to leave water to go live on dry land, especially given what land is in max’s world -- hot, dry, lethal, poisoned. There’s nothing romantic or wondrous about it. Even if he had some warped leftover remembrance of a children’s story from the old days, maybe something he watched 50 times with his kid because it was her favorite movie and so the basic storyline is seared into his brain (somewhere) (deep behind a few dozen piles of crazy), I think the reality of their current world would change its retelling in some key ways.

i was stopped from actually putting it in the chapter by two things - 1. the little mermaid came out in 1989, which is about a decade too late for this apocalypse, and the hans christian anderson version just wouldn’t cut it, and 2. every time i tried to write it i ran into the fact that max just doesn’t talk enough to tell a story like this. sooooo no fairytale.

Story Note: Naetrothian Race Relations

The observant reader my have noticed this going by Andor’s stance on islanders or that one mercenary’s comment about Ebele and Masozi looking like sisters even though they have share no resemblance whatsoever but racism is sort of the norm in Naetroth (the world where all of these stories that aren’t clown-related occur.) The average citizen of every country, at least to some level, looks down on foreigners. This is usually a result of very limited interaction with said foreigners, so people who travel a lot (merchants, pirates, etc.) often lose this vice eventually.

It should also be noted that the animosity is especially strong between certain peoples (as with Elics and Cadonsians) and exists to the extent that their kingdoms refuse trade with each other and occasionally even start wars over nothing.
