On the other hand my story could start with Seon-hwa moving to the future and tell the backstory in flashback chapters
#because it feels like!! the story might feel like it goes too many places people might see it as like#when a show runs out of steam and throws in something random out of the blue to keep it going#which ISN’T the case because I did always intend to have her move but it just may feel weird you know?#like it starts as a time travel story in the Victorian era and suddenly becomes a modern day romcom#but if I start it in the modern day I can have both at once#and it won’t feel random because that’ll have been the premise all along!#it IS a romcom set in the modern day. but it’s between a gen z college student and a girl he met while time traveling who decided to move to#modern-day London with him#so it’s double culture shock: her adjusting to Victorian London in the flashback chapters and her adjust to modern-day London in the main st#story**#the more I think about it the more I like the idea#elly's posts#elly writes!
