a show that so ubiquitously frames the american government as an oppressive entity alike to other kinds of predators (i.e sharks & tigers + supernatural evils + hawkins high with its huge american flag mural with a tiger smack dab in the middle of it) that simultaneously has rainbows everywhere (everywhere. the rainbow room. the rainbow ship. project rainbow. don't get me started on the little rainbows actually included in the set design.) marketed and discussed as a show for outcasts freaks and nerds and they can't even have their openly gay character kiss a boy in the finale u cannot make ts up LOL

just realized (arg)yle completely disappears after picking mushrooms by a tree (where gates have opened in previous seasons) in the woods by hopper's cabin. his name wouldn't be signifigant to me if i hadn't clocked 'argo' in the bg of like 4 scenes across seasons last night while going through stuff.
