This quick and easy stovetop lasagna recipe is perfect for busy weeknights when you're craving the comfort of lasagna without all the hassle. It's made with ground beef, marinara sauce, and plenty of melted cheese for a satisfying meal the whole family will love.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1 onion, diced. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 24 oz jar marinara sauce. 1 1/2 cups water. 9 lasagna noodles, broken into pieces. 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese. 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil or parsley optional. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks. Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Cook until onions are softened and translucent. Stir in marinara sauce, water, and broken lasagna noodles. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Bring mixture to a simmer. Cover and cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until noodles are tender. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the top of the lasagna mixture. Cover and let it melt for a couple of minutes. Remove from heat. Garnish with chopped basil or parsley if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
