Today we celebrate the memory of our Righteous Elder among the Saints, Paisios the Athonite (+1994). Saint Paisios was a recent Greek Athonite monk and elder who many people still alive today remember meeting him personally and being benefited by his comforting words, his holy presence and his wondrous miracles.
