i love hardcore because it basically saved me. in 2024/2025 i was in a bad mental state. i was in a toxic relationship and after we broke up i found out that she liked my best friend the whole time. that's when i went to my first hardcore punk concert. i found out about straight edge and the whole subculture. and straight edge prevented me from using drugs. it was a difficult time for me but every time i went to a gig i could let off Anger and release energy. that's why i love hardcore. I feel like this music is drug.
