Thank you to @revive-the-fandom who suggested I post this - I suggest you check out their (digitally-redrawn!) map of Burgess as well. It's much neater and has more scenes!

How do you think the Blackbeard pirates would fare with an assigned bath buddy? Would it help them to have someone to guard them while they're vulnerable and/or make the miserable experience a little better?

Going with an assumed established relationship for this one, since there are some serious trust issues involved~ :3c

Blackbeard

Enjoying the attention wayyyy too much. Teach teases you plenty for liking him enough to go to this much trouble, all while visibly basking in the pampering while it lasts. He's one of the ones who has plenty of sexually-motivated commentary as well— and he's not subtle about it. Internally, he's more guarded than he lets on, however, and distantly perhaps a little bit worried about you trying to take advantage of his weakened state and try to drown him.

Burgess

A bit uncomfortable with the idea of being even partially limp and helpless in front of someone, but... this is for a pretty good reason, at least. Your attention is nice, and he trusts that you're at least not going to try to kill him while he's not at his peak. Burgess ultimately enjoys the spoiling more than he'd expected, especially if it comes as a "reward" after a victory in battle or an especially hard day of training. It feels more deserved, that way. Easier to sit through.

Doc Q

Yeahhhh, that's probably for the best. If you're not there, there's a non-zero chance that he'll pass out from the heat and have a close call with almost drowning... Q is generally agreeable about having help with what's become one of the most difficult tasks of physical upkeep, now that his body is extra intent on betraying him. He's grateful for your help, although perhaps enjoying the idea of you doting on him a little too much. Expect off-putting comments. <3

Augur

Not exactly happy about the situation, but he kind of just... lets it happen. Such is fate, as the saying goes. Augur is pretty awkward about the level of intimacy involved, but if you insist on helping, so be it. It's easier to just go along with it than make a fuss. At the very least, he trusts you not to drown him— and there's admittedly something fascinating about studying your reactions and trying to puzzle out why you'd bother being so soft with a man like him.

Laffitte

Oh, no, you really don't have to trouble yourself. He's perfectly fine on his own, no need to intervene. :) Laffitte resists your help for as long as possible, not wanting to look weak or undignified in front of you by needing (or even enjoying) such... excessive care. He wants to look competent and untouchable, not so weak as to need someone's doting, even if it would help. Pampering makes him uncomfortable, so he's awkwardly tense for the whole ordeal.

Shiryuu

Nope, no way, not happening. Even with current fruit-related difficulties factored in, Shiryuu would rather gut himself than let you try to get all pampering with him... or so he claims. He caves, eventually, and is still very, very grumpy about having your help. He doesn't need it, okay? You don't need to be doing this. It's hard to tell if he's embarrassed somewhere deep under that prickly shell, or if he just genuinely hates feeling vulnerable around you that much.

Devon

The pampering is nice, but with the unfortunate side effects of water that are now a problem for her, the vulnerability involved in a bathing partner is... a lot less pleasant. Devon tries to act like she's fine, perfectly fine, not bothered at all by your oh-so-helpful participation. You'll notice, however, that she's awfully tense through the whole ordeal, even when the physical sensations should be relaxing. Naaaasty trust issues on this fox, even if she won't admit it...

Pizarro

On one hand, he likes the attention. Feeling pampered reminds him of the better days when he still had servants to dote on him and fulfill his every need. However, the weak, limp feeling that water causes for him now is a lot less pleasant, and Pizarro doesn't want to look pathetic in front of you. Benefits from having bath toys to bat around. His hair is thick enough that it's a nightmare to get the soap out of; he's really better off having someone to help with that part

Shot

Does not like feeling so vulnerable and exposed. Shot starts out with lewd comments to try to cover up how uncomfortable he feels (and maybe make you angry while he's at it), and when that fails, he gets grouchy and nasty, practically pouting while you try to get the bath part over with. If you actually have the patience to do this to him, he's going to make sure you hate it as much as he does— either that, or get so drunk beforehand that he hardly knows what's happening.

Wolf

If you're either big enough or creative enough to find a way to help him, Wolf is happy to oblige. It's not often that people bother to find ways to make his life easier when his size is such a complicated issue to work around, and he gets all giddy over the idea that you care enough to try. The bathing part isn't the most pleasant if there's enough water involved to make him dizzy, but he's easy enough to keep distracted. Not a difficult one to work with, overall.

Kuzan

Tries to avoid his uncomfortable feelings of vulnerability with crude sexual commentary, part whatever we're on now! Kuzan is not used to being doted on like this. The Marines didn't afford gentleness very often, and it would have looked weak to indulge in it even if it was offered. His body is all in favor of accepting the help and melting into your touch at every turn, but the part of him that still feels shame is a lot more hesitant about acting pathetic in front of you.
