Headphones ? Plug into something audio book or music... Make them vanish? Tom reading something, YouTube is great for that... Tom reading sonnets? Sorry it's the only thing I can suggest. Xxx

The police just arrived and probably just told both to keep quiet on a Sunday. Whatever they did. It’s quiet for now and hopefully stays this way. :)
I have no idea what caused this extreme today... I have neighbours who party too long and too loud at times, then there is my deaf neighbour who always has a loud TV and constantly screams at his aids. Children are playing outside and are far from quiet. There’s the odd argument that turns into screaming. It was never a problem though.
I mean, of course it is unpleasant and I complain about it at times. Yet there is a difference in being annoyed by something and screaming death threats, I think...
