Outside the abbey, a bird was chirping.

"... and so you see, the outside of the abbey has these beautiful vines, you'll need to tend to those..."

0068 continued showing the newcomer his new responsibilities. Though it was a fine day, 0148 felt ill-at-ease. He could feel a pressure building in his head, it had been growing since he arrived in town that morning. It was that bird. He couldn't stand it. He could feel his heart pounding away in his head...

Outside the abbey, a bird stopped chirping.

0104 and the stranger sit atop the abbey.

"do you see, friend. do you see them there"

The sound of static whispers in the wind. A lone bird sings a mournful song while perched on the roof and the sound grows.

"soon, soon"

The sound of static drowns out the cries of the bird as it drops to the ground.

A dark room. 0104 is typing.

A dim light reaches the doorway.

0104 spins her head slowly towards the doorway.

"you're late"

The pale light of the stranger casts shadows across the room.

Slowly, the light turns to red.
