The stranger | Godric/Eric
Fangtasia... what a silly name. Godric stared at the sign above the entrance, a bemused little smirk visible on his features. Well, this would prove to be interesting.
For the past 3 weeks, Godric had traveled all over America, tracking one certain vampire by the name of Jack Freeman. He had went wild in Godric's territory, and Godric - being as unforgiving as he is - took it upon himself to hunt him down. And not only because it was his duty as sheriff, but also because Godric enjoyed the hunt. Being out of Dallas, being free, not having to do silly, dumb tasks every night just because it was demanded of him. That's mostly why he chose to do this himself. And that journey had taken him to Shreveport, Louisiana. Before coming here, he did go and see Sophie-Ann, Queen of the state, and ask her permission to hunt for the rouge vampire here. Godric had been pleased to hold this meeting as short as possible. Sophie-Ann was an unpleasant person.
And now he was here, the vampire bar, where the sheriff of Area 5 was. Eric Northman, as far as Godric knew, was old, powerful and quite a bit to work with. But that wouldn't be a problem. Still, if his sources hadn't sworn on Jack being in his area, Godric wouldn't have come here. But this required help of the sheriff. He knew better who was here and - most importantly - where.
Finally Godric stepped out of the shadows and into the parking lot, moving toward the door at a human pace.
The bouncer - a very, very beautiful lady with long, blond hair - looked him over, before stepping aside.
"Welcome to Fangtasia, pretty", she said, her features not changing from her very bored expression. Godric felt exactly how she looked: bored. This place wasn't exciting, it was loud. He could that from the outside, that he would rather not go inside. But right now, he didn't have any other choice. Rules were there to keep peace. And Godric would have lost it, if some other sheriff went hunting for a criminal in his territory. Stating he was here was only polite.
Inside it was warm and loud and crowed. But apart from that, Godric couldn't see any interesting strangers, anything that caught his eye. Expect one man, towering above all others, sitting on a throne. How tacky.
Godric was sure, this must be the sheriff. Isabel had warned him, that Eric Northman difficult, but Godric knew, the same was said about himself.
With his usual stroll full of confidence and maybe a little smugness, Godric moved through the crowd, his eyes fixed on the man in the throne. And shortly after, he was standing there, looking up at him, tilting his head a little. Hm... such a beautiful creature. Almost sad he was just here to do a job.
"Godric, Sheriff of Texas Area Nine. Is there a place we can talk?"
