I can’t stop thinking about this it’s such an interesting idea??
Credit for the au was made by @neatgirl i’m pretty sure?
and stranger things fans don't wanna hear it but the Party is Uncool and Nerds and they would have loved homestuck
okayokayokay strangerstuck aspects (PART I):
dustin:
lucas:
mike:
jane:
will:
max:
i'm pretty confident in what i said the party's aspects were, but when it comes to the Stranger Teenz™, i think my categorization is more up-in-the-air. here it is as i currently see them:
barb (more headcanon than anything):
nancy:
jonathan (like his bro):
or Life. I'm still deciding - he DOES strike me as more of a healer than Doom seems to imply
steve:
robin:
Kali (like her sis):
Or Void, which I'll get a screenshot of tomorrow
eddie, argyle, and vickie TBD (but if they don't get some space and time in here they're headed towards failure)
on that last post, none of this was intentional but the space/time and hope/doom opposite dichotomies are interesting as the og party members (dustin, lucas, mike, and will) in a DnD campaign. in canon, when playing sburb, you need both space and time to have a successful session. doom's opposite is usually considered life, but i think hope makes a good opposite as well. though you don't technically NEED hope or doom players, the friction between the crazy-making conviction of hope versus utter doom is thematic throughout season 1. what i'm saying is homestuck is weirdly appropriate for stranger things.
when the world ended and you realize youre bisexual
this is where MY head is at rn
