This is gonna sound really stupid but your page seems pretty safe for a lefty like me and i just saw a video of how the ST characters would vote and this guy said Mike would be a republican after going down the redpill incel manosphere and i never felt more grossed out because mike WOULD NEVER. This must have been written by a byler but also I may have seen the same comment somewhere on the Mileven subreddit. This fandom has become so insanely stupid - this morning I saw a Mileven post subreddit that asked if Mike was referring to the party or himself and El when talking about running away and starting over again and three waterfalls. I honestly can't handle how stupid this fandom is anymore, so I am sure the commenter who thinks Mike is a red pill manosphere person puts no thought into it.

Mike is 100% an anarchist, potentially non-voting. Caleb McLaughlin said that Lucas would likely join the military to reform it from the inside (which would be a huge point of contention between Mike and Lucas) which pains me but I actually think that's a dead on character assessment. Dustin is the least involved in politics but votes to protect funding for public health and scientific research (the NIH is his bae) and he and Mike would be ranting about the lack of CDC surveillance over several diseases atm. Will is definitely not a log cabin republican and probably is most focused on voting as harm reduction but is super involved not only in grassroots LGBTQ+ organizations but also sometimes goes to soup kitchens and is passionate about dampening food insecurity and income inequality, having been a victim of it as a child (let's be real Jonathan is the one who dragged him out to these events). Max is probably a DSA girlie because she's practical but also I can see her getting fed up for a few years and throwing in the towel. El is a wild card - she probably votes once she's able to (because it's an expression of her legal existence and rights) and maybe also is finally able to convince Mike to. She and Mike maybe watch a lot of documentaries about covert FBI and CIA operations but I think she's most focused on staying fairly lowkey (not only to evade government detection but also because sometimes she's tired from the brutality of her childhood and just wants to knit and play with cats... and she deserves to)

I am admittedly not super knowledgable about politics so sorry if this didn't answer your question!!
