You were scared. You were absolutely terrified and you couldn't talk to anyone about it. When your popular friends found out that you talked with the ‘Freaks’, they started bullying you. And this wasn't just elementary school type bullying. They beat you up, threatened you, called you names and stole your stuff.

Now, the bullying wasn't unnoticed. Especially not for Eddie ‘The Freak’ Munson. He always had an eye on you, since you were the only nice popular person. So when he saw you getting pushed around by the jocks in the parking lot in front of the school, he couldn't help but step in.

Jason was about to punch you in the face, when he saw Eddie walking up to them.

“Aww, is the Junkie trying to help his little girlfriend?” Jason said in a baby voice. “What are you gonna do, call your little freak friends?”

You felt tears creeping up in your eyes.

“Actually, I think I can handle you alone,” Eddie said with a mischievous grin.

Then, without a warning, he stormed in Jason's direction and straight up punched him in the face. Jason was too shocked to react, so he just stood there. Finally, he caught himself after a few more punches by Eddie. He tried to punch back but Eddie blocked him quickly. Jason pulled away from Eddie’s grip and only said: “This isn't over, Freak!”

The jocks quickly walked away, without saying a word.

“Thank you…” You said, breaking the silence.

“You’re still on the ground, sweetheart” There it was. The nickname that would always make you blush.

Eddie held out his hand for you to take. He helped you up, unintentionally pulling you close to him. You were freezed on the spot. He held you like that, your hands in his and your faces incredibly close. Your heart was pounding so loud, it would have been a miracle if he didnt hear it. He stared at your lips, tracing them with his looks. He leaned in and- pulled away…?

He had that stupid grin of his on his face again.

“Class is starting. See you later, princess!” He smirked, winking at you.

You watched as he walked away, still grinning like an idiot.

He knew what he was doing to you.

For the rest of the day, he kept teasing you. For example, calling you nicknames, keeping eye contact with you from far away, and being VERY close to you, watching you blush. Finally, school was over and you put on your headphones, ready to walk home. The sun was burning on your skin, which is why you wanted to be home as fast as possible. Your brother, Dustin Henderson, was talking to Eddie. You were hoping they wouldn't notice you, but it was already too late. Dustin blew your non-existent cover by waving at you. Of course, Eddie had spotted you too and started to walk in your direction.

You pretended that you couldn't see him, hoping he would leave you alone. You turned around, just to see Eddie grinning at you.

“Hey Y/N, want me to give you a ride?”

“No thanks, Eddie. Although this is the first time you've called me by my actual name, it’s fine if I walk” I said nicely, trying not to stutter.

“C’mon darling, I can’t let you walk in this heat”

“Fine” You said, knowing that there was no use in arguing, as Eddie always got what he wanted. Little did you know, that all he wanted was you.

You got into his van, and he started driving.

“Y/N?” You jumped in your seat as you heard him speak up.

“Y-yeah?”

“I like y- no love you”

Your breath hitched, you certainly did not expect that.

“So…all the teasing was serious?” You asked as the van stopped.

“Well, do you want it to be?” He offered, looking at you.

“I-” You got interrupted by him grabbing your chin and pulling you in for a REAL kiss. Your eyes widened, but you enjoyed it. When Eddie finally pulled away to take a breath, you blushed uncontrollably.

“Aww, look at you being flustered” His ringed hands caressed your cheeks as your face went hot.

After some comfortable silence, Eddie spoke up:

“(insert your DnD name), do you want to be my girlfriend?”
