That's not my point though. I'm not saying that you can't curate indie content or encourage non bnf-fans. What I'm getting at is keep in mind your own enjoyment of a character you love & you connect with deeply. Seeing that kind of negativity can affect you & potentially create burn out. I've had it happen several times & I don't want to see it happen to you is all. You love the robot nerd man; he makes you happy; I don't want him to make you unhappy, one day.

thank you! and i appreciate the concern and sentiment and take steps to ensure i don’t burn out, but honestly! the positive side to having little to no ability to connect on a socio-emotional level is that it’s really hard for me to get invested in other people opinions of me or the things i like! after a little “oh my gosh i cant believe the bs i saw today” it’s good I’m Cleansed, usually! 

i really do appreciate your concern though! it’s a worrying event! i’ve seen at least three or four people on my dash make announcements that they’re leaving this fandom because of the negativity or other related content! and i feel very bad because they were cool people who made cool things and seeing their safe space become stressful is always hard :c

i’d stop... looking at it, if, it Stops Being In The Tags.. just the One Tag tbh. i’m not giving up looking at the Good Fan Art and tony content just cause some people dont know how to tag their shit, i know way to many peeps who only reblog from people they follow precisely to avoid hate, and i understand that! but that means there’s  a HUGE amount of newbie or not popular content creators and fans who aren’t getting noticed or being encouraged to follow the things that make them happy  ;v;
