“This place again?...” The squid’s muttering could be heard faintly under her breath as she gazed upwards at all the buildings surrounding her; buildings that were much, much taller than she was. She had been stunned into immobility for a few moments upon re-arrival in the city of Spirale, mostly as the result of a whole bunch of memories flooding back into her mind all at the same time; it was overwhelming, to say the least, especially since a lot of these memories weren’t exactly positive.
Cod damn it.
Sticking her hands in her pockets, she found herself trying to make heads or tails of the city once more. It seemed as if the population had changed drastically since the last time she was here; there didn’t seem to be any familiar faces around. She couldn’t decide if that was for better or for worse, honestly.
Still, she knew she’d need at least some help to get used to everything that had changed around here. With that in mind, she approached the first person she saw, whistling out a short greeting.
“Yo! How long have ya been here?”
