kai regal royaldungsroman the third is the heir to the throne of the royaldungsroman empire, and as such, they have had numerous responsibilities thrust upon them since childhood. kai has mostly made their peace with the life they've been born into, but there's one impending responsibility they aren't looking forward to in the least: arranged marriage, in order to cement relations with a neighboring country. with an unwanted alliance to a stranger before them and an illicit relationship with a palace guard just waiting in the wings, kai has to make the biggest decision they will ever have to make: their country's future, or their own.
