For anyone still playing AC Odyssey, if you get a weekly Orichalcum quest wanting you to kill enemies with the torch, I have a little cheat for you.

If you knock them out first, either by hand or with arrows, they only take 1 hit with the torch to die, saving you a lot of time and hassle and accidentally losing your torch kill to fire damage. (Because fire damage from a torch doesn't count as you killing them with the torch, funnily enough.)

Also! You can use your arrow abilities, too, so long as the arrow is the knockout one.

I'm not sure if this is a known strategy or not. I haven't checked the internet, but I figured I'd share regardless in case someone else gets this quest.
