Straw Bear get real on Fiction it is a finely crafted and executed body of work very avant-garde pop unsurprisingly they have received airplay across teh BBC

You’ve got to love a band that has taken its name from an English Fenland Festival where a person would be covered from head to foot in straw and led from house to house where he would dance in exchange for gifts of money, food or beer…although to my eye, the modern-day version, resurrected in Whittlesea, Cambridgeshire, doesn’t so much resemble a bear as a mobile haystack!
