✿ i know exactly what i’m doing
✿ What do you think about public call out posts?
LOL JAWNY. ok so like im pretty sure people know my opinion but i should make it clear because i never go into detail. i kno the majority of people’s opinions is that most of it is fake or just accusing people of stuff they didnt do and its like….most of the people who say that just say that cause its someone they like/are friends with that they dont want to look at critically because they care more about their friendship than who that person has hurt.
the idea of callout culture or what people mean when they express it is largely just to silence victims for personal gain, it’s literally just saying ‘no that didnt happen’ even when evidence is largely summed up against them? like, if you cant even argue you didnt do something and something didnt happen and keep making excuses/falling back on your statements it’s pretty clear you’re guilty or blatantly lying to save yourself the stress of admitting fault and either changing yourself, or putting what you want on back burner for people who are harmed by your actions.
next part: callout posts? are largely? not wrong. like. people only make callout posts when the issue with aforementioned person hasn’t been resolved privately, they refuse to change, they refuse to admit fault. it is VERY rarely that this isn’t the case, and trust me i’ve seen at least 80 fucking callout posts, and i read through all of them even if they were 175 pages long. sometimes there is petty information that doesn’t necessarily like. mean this person is at fault, like a disagreement or just something minor they did that pissed someone off etc. but for the most part? they are all very concise and present very good evidence. you can always look at callout posts with a fair view of skepticism, but i think it’s very telling that people would only look at a callout post with skepticism rather than their own actions. like. you don’t really have much room to talk if you can’t even consider your interests, or actions critically. your opinion on the matter means little to not.
