Ok hold on, based on my own experiences, in the US spring break usually coincides with Easter, right? So like, were all these kids running around trying to kill a horrid tentacle man on Easter Sunday? Season 4 was set in March of 1986, and Easter was on March 30th that year, so I feel like I'm right, but if so why wasn't it mentioned in the show?? Am I just thinking too far into it

Okay so in theory I guess it would depend like I think my spring breaks in the past have always been separate from the 2 (?) days off for Easter, and I feel like less people would do big spring break trips if there was a family holiday like that… but in practice I literally don’t care because this is the funniest possible setting for a stranger things season. like throw back to the halloween episode where their moms are getting their pictures in their little Easter outfits… something something jesus allegory except dustin is like “okay but did he take out demons from another dimension with his mind tho??” there’s some important mission moment they need to be preparing for but Karen forced them to attend a church service with their poorly concealed homemade weaponry.
