This bitter berry (and all his others of his design) are not great at trusting humans or anything larger than them. They have keen survival instincts that are usually in overdrive. It takes a bit for these guys to come to warm up to their owners or companions.

The runts or lighter variations are called "milkshakes" due to their paler tones and such
