ok so, remember that bayverse human starscream I mentioned a while back? well I finished her. and this is genuinely maybe the most proud I've been of an illustration in a long ass time.
in the end I wound up using some of the g1 colors because I wasn't happy with the flat grey/gold combo, but the idea never would have existed without starting from their bayverse design so?? eh? still counts.
I was also listening to a LOT of Warhammer 40k lore videos while I worked on this so there is a bit of space marine that seeped into the aesthetic. I regret NOTHING
anyhow, I want to draw her one million times. she's so pointy :D

Mephiles looked down to the floor. Damn it. His knees felt like they were just kicked by that blue hedgehog, Maurice, more commonly known as Sonic the Hedgehog. That's because they were kicked by that bastard.
"You're too slow!" The blue idiot dashed away with a smirk
He HATED that hedgehog, just even seeing a sign of Sonic's whereabouts were one of the only things in life that can make his blood boil. He couldn't show it outside because out there, he had to cover his true self. Being the town's leader has its perks. No one questions why you go out late at night in the darkest parts of town that people only whisper rumors about.
"I've heard the mayor has a lover that's out of town."
"No way! The mayor wouldn't ever get that close to anyone here, why would he have this aloofness all day?"
He's heard the wildest things from his favorite child, a raven that he found near the Chaos Emeralds that day that changed his life. He never thought that his 25 year old self would hold this much power after his crimes against the only one who "loved" him.
