“Let Me Do It Once, Please!”

A/N: This took me a while but I finished it! I hope you like it @straykits! It was fun to write. :D It’s not proof read! so if you find any mistakes, keep them too yourself!

You and Minho had your weekends off and it was saturday night which meant you two were hanging out at your place. “I missed hanging out with you so much.” you said to Minho who made funny faces at you because he was bored. “Same goes to you. I missed it too. It has been so stressful lately, so it’s pretty good to be myself for a weekend.” Minho said. You two said silently next to each other for the past 10 minutes. It wasn’t an awkward silence, it was a comfortable silence that the both of you enjoyed. 

Suddenly, you had the weirdest idea ever. “Minho listen up!” you kicked your best friend with your feet on his shoulders.”Yah! What is it, stupid?” he asked. You looked at him and smiled. “Since you’re an idol, you know how to work with make-up and stuff. What about we doing each others make-up?” you asked him with a serious tone. He looked at you, confused as to why you two should do that. "Are you serious? What's going on in that little head of yours that you come up with such ideas at the most random times?" he asked you and laughed. You shrugged your shoulders. “I don’t know. I just do. So come on. Just once. Let me do it once, please!” you begged. Minho sighed and agreed to the stupid idea. You squealed like a little school girl and ran upstairs to get your make-up. Shortly after, you came back downstairs. 

“I know it’s not the best make up but I’m sure you can work out something.” you said and looked at Minho. He just eyed your make-up and nodded. “I have an idea.” he said and started your make-up. “Let’s not look into mirrors until the two of us finished, okay?” he said and giggled a little. “Okay!” you happily agreed and closed your eyes. He took the first brush and started. he was tender and his touches were soft. The only thing hearable the whole time was when he patted the brush against the make-up palette and when he searched for something now in the big pile of make-up products.

After what felt like hours he finally finished. “You look gorgeous.” he said trying to hide his laughter. “Really?” you asked and he nodded. “Okay. So now it’s my turn. Close your eyes you will be beautiful.” you said and already had the first brush in your hands. 

You were quicker than Minho and after a short time you finished. “I’m done!” you said and looked one last time at Minho’s face. “now let’s reveal our faces.” you added and pulled out two mirrors, one for you and one for Minho. At the count of three the two of you looked into the mirror. There was a short silent moment until you bursted out laughing. “What did you do?!” you said laughing. “I made you into what you are: a clown.” Minho said laughing and holding his belly. You pouted. I put so much effort into your make-up and you drew a clown onto my face.” you said. “Minho hugged you. “But you are my clown best friend, Y/N. And what would I do without you?” he said. You thought about it for a moment than agreed. “True. I’m happy that you are my best friend because I couldn’t live without you being my best friend.” you said and kept on laughing. That evening was the best evening you had in a long time, thanks to Minho, your best friend.

hi izzy im in class rn and i only have 5 mins left of my break (until whenever my next break is) but hi ty for the smoliv hehe it gave me a little bit more energy this morn 😌

anyways may i request an opinion - i dropped my phone last night and fir finally cracked (ie. normally my phone doesnt crack at all) and the corner of the screen protector (i have the glass one??) is all cracked and i currently have a piece of tape over it so all the small bits dont come off and murder me but should i get it replaced today? or just leave it until it gets worse HAHAHA its free replacement bc of the package thingy i got and i dont want to risk grtting small glass bits rverywhere BUT its also not so bad that i /need/ to get it replaced hm. im speed tyoing bc peoplr are coming back now which means the break is ending but !! i kinda wanna get it changed bc it so rarely cracks?? so i know it wont crack again anytime soon, whereas having small fragments come off every time i use my phone is Not Nice :( idk why im asking for an opinion when ive kind of made up my mind HAHAHA im just tired so idk if i'll be bothered but 🤔

ALSOOOO i read ur reqctions yhe the scarlet/violet thingy and it seemed like u expected the legendaries (apologies i forgot the names again) to be motorcycles/bikes??? bc i did not and that was sO random to me

and OH haha yeah I kind of expected smth with wheels I didn’t really know for sure that they themselves would become bikes but given how both of them had tire-like chests in the earlier trailer (it was one of the first things I noticed about koraidon) I just thought that may be a theme but when they became bikes I was like “ah this makes sense” HAHA I thought maybe they’d have some kind of move or smth and wheel on their chest would move idk 😂😂 ALSO I LOVE KORAIDON HAS WHEELS BUT STILL RUNS ANYWAY HAHA it’s so hilarious to me!

oh and on a side note I love we basically have them from the start and they’re partners with us such a nice change to the game formula I love this idea bc then we potentially can bond with the legendary more than normal instead of just finding it or encountering at the end. SPOILER FOR SWORD AND SHIELD BUT they took the cool early encounter from swsh and made it even better

i read that post about trying smth new w ur writing like an advertisement HAHA but ive always wanted to write a character/member as unredeemably evil? like, have them be so unapologetically evil and do bad things that like. yeah sure they could have valid reasons but the story doesnt end with them recognising their wrongs and accepting it? they either die or get captured..? have a member be evil, but people can still sympathise with him, but also theres no saving him. and then reader/yn doesnt end up swapping sides to become evil either; theyre just.. against the member yhe entire time.

but at the same time i dont because i feel bad writing this real person as a piece of moral shit or whatever HAHAHA and i think thats where i hit a lot of roadblocks in terms of plot, because im always trying to see whats a plausible way to save this evil character??

unredeemably evil characters are right up my alley even when they infuriate me so much. the first person that came to mind while i read this is light yagami from death note. they're what i like to call best characters in terms of the way they're written but would i want to deal with them irl? hell no.

i get the conflict, i used to view them like this too until the mindset switched and atp they're just face claims. HELP SKDJS the thinking abt ways to save the evil character 😭 relateable, nice to see another apologist here. i think it's difficult as a writer bc while planning the character you get to see why they did what they did so in your mind it's justifiable(?) if i'm making sense.

tmi, i'm actually writing a fic that's somewhat like this but there's a whole anime i based it on so there's already the established good and bad side that i don't need to elaborate much about. so the ending is a swift and easy (unapologetic) kill.
