After a mile and a half hike through rocky scrubland, the Harpers Corner Trail at Dinosaur National Monument in Colorado ends with a stunning canyon overlook. The Green River flows past the rugged walls far below as shifting light and shadow continue their endless fight. With the wind blowing, it’s easy to imagine yourself flying over this landscape -- exploring the corners and crannies for shy wildlife or ancient fossils. Now that’s an adventure.
