Can’t Lug Around Trees 12-18 Jul
"But I will try," she assured me. "I just want you to keep your expectations low."
So I stood back and waited, looking at the frozen faces of G'fon and Kink hidden in the bark as the leaves on their branches began to bud. "I can't do anything on my own," Akaal finally declared. "As expected, I can't just snap an antivenoms out. But," she added seeing my disappointment and cutting off my next words, "I think there is something I can do. I can backtrack these spiders to their source of origin. Someone along the way should know how to reverse the effects," Akaal said.
"Ok," I said because it sounded like a good idea. "But what are we going to do about G'fon and Kink? We can't just leave them here."
"We're going to have to. What other choice do we have? Lug two trees around? They should be fine. I've captured the spiders that infected them, so whatever the next stage of the process would be, and I won't hazard a guess, wouldn't be carried out. But I'll put a protection ward on them if it'll make you feel better."
"Yes, it would. Thank you.”
Akaal smiled, nodded, and placed a ward on Kink and G'fon. She then instigated her tracking spell and streams of hazy blue light filled the air. "Those are the different causal pathways," she explained.
