Street Mapping Paris

French creative studio Le3 has put together a beautiful street mapping project of a tiger running the streets of Paris at night:

According to L3, no post-production FX was involved - they filmed the lights moving alongside them as they roamed the city. The full video is below. Mesmerizing!

Golden Tiger corre lungo i muri di Parigi#StreetMapping

Un esperimento ed un mix di architettura e street art lungo le strade della capitale francese, dello studio Le3. I muri di Parigi, fanno da scenografia a questo esperimento d' animazione virtuale che corre nella notte. Golden Tiger, nome e soggetto dell' opera, è fatto d' immagini provenienti da una macchina in movimento con una velocità che dipende dai sensori posti sulle ruote. Più l' automobile accellera e più la tigre corre.

Le3, a French design studio, is getting attention for 'Golden Tiger', their projection of a tiger running through the streets of Paris, shot entirely in-camera using street mapping. It's an effective technique and reminded us of a student piece we saw for Ministry a while back... posting next.
