Chapter II: Housing
It's OFFICIAL!!!
I will be housing off-campus in my very OWN apartment! Through the Housing Office at Chula, I will be staying at Nonsi Residence--only 30min. away from school.
It is a one-bedroom 53 sq.m. apartment which converts to 570 sq.ft.! Wow! Now, that is plenty of room for a party of one!:) If you are like me, it is a perfect place for privacy. It is a serviced apartment which includes amenities such as: pool, gym, maid-service, WiFi, satellite/cable, 24-hr security and self-service launderette!
Thank goodness for Google maps because I have been using their street view tool to see where and what Nonsi Residence looks like....
(*Tip: I definitely recommend others to use this tool for those who decide to live off-campus. It is a great way to become familiarize with your living environment before you actually get there.)
...My apartment is located in this narrow street and just down the road located are the closest street vendors which I can't wait to try out!
I leave in two and half weeks and I am so ecstatic to embark in my upcoming journey! Next to come...I will share my tips that I have researched on how to pack and what to bring when you go study abroad! So for now, mahalo for reading & alooohaaaa\m/
