“Hey, are you lost?” The brunette called out to the stranger. Runa noticed the girl seemed to be confused about her current surroundings and she couldn’t exactly blame her either. These city streets was like a maze sometimes. 

“Do you know where you’re heading? Maybe I can help you get there?”

The pink haired man leaned in, reading his sister’s notes from over her shoulder quietly. She had been working on those for some time, what called for an intervention. “That’s enough don’t you think sis?” He asked. Of course, they had been lucky that both of them had been chosen to be the new leaders of the Dandelions, but Lauriam worried that his sister was overthinking that maybe just a little bit.

“C’mon, let go out and do something, you haven’t hung out with me in foreeeeeever! Or are you too cool to go on a mission with your big brother?”

why ... is everyone so much taller than her? she never had this problem back in daybreak town. "does everyone drink milk here??" lauriam had said that milk made people tall so ... was that the secret to this world?

That’s quite the peculiar question to ask a stranger out in the open -or anywhere really. Either way, Pyrrha will humor this girl, even if the inquiry seemed rather open ended. 

“Well I do not imagine that those who are lactose intolerant do.” Logical conclusion for an emotive thinker. Pyrrha is rather soft spoken in this conversation despite her hazardous mien. Her head tilts, the straggler bits of dark pink hair glide over her circlet in similar fashion. Her gaze is inquisitive as it falls upon the smaller statured girl. 

“Why do you ask?” She follows with an inquiry of her own.

“It’s…it’s nothing, Strel.” She tries to smile at her friend, to assure her that nothing is wrong, but cannot seem to surmise enough effort to even fake it. She is exhausted, dark circles around her eyes and complexion paler than normal, her thoughts slow and muggy as if trudging through deep snow. “I just haven’t been sleeping much. It’s really nothing, just some dumb nightmares.” Nothing Elrena cannot handle, right?

And yet she cannot unsee Strelitzia’s corpse lying there, bathed in darkness and eyes unseeing, lifeless and unmoving.
