Strength training question
I know nothing about programming (training-wise) and want to learn so I can make my gym sessions more worthwhile and understand about making progress, breaking plateaus and so on (being stuck on bench and squat plateaus is crushing my spirit rn).
As such, I'm thinking of getting one of Rippetoe's books, but I don't know which. I'd describe myself as a novice lifter (I've been using dumbbells for the last few years but October was the first time I'd ever touched a barbell). Would I be better getting Starting Strength or Practical Programming?
